Wow, the last time I looked up and saw no one ahead of me, I had entered the NCAA pool in July. I was able to stay in front for quite a few months...

Enjoy the view.
Kansas and Wisconsin do not have three more games.

I plan on it, at least for another hour or two.

I kinda feel like the kid who accidentally slipped into the Playboy Mansion. I know I'm not supposed to be here, but I'll enjoy the view until someone rightfully kicks me out.

I suck!!! None of my upsets happened, some I thought about but didn't pick did happen, and I suck. Oregon is my only hope for redemption.

Thumbs down

Well I haven't picked any of the upsets, and Duke and Wisconsin really let me down...geez, I wonder why I am in last place???

Winthrop killed me too, I had them going out first round, and I doubt too many people outside of a few had Duke going bye bye first round..

Well, thanks to Tim Floyd, methinks Snaqwells is officially done this year.

Although I have climbed the ranks to 70th. Woo Hoo!

Is now a good time to note that I'm in 1st place in our group and 779th overall with 560 points.

I somehow managed to hit 14 of the Sweet 16 and ALL of my Elite Eight teams are still alive. Thus I have the maximum amount of possible points remaining.

My best pick this tournament is a tie between selecting UNLV to beat Wisconsin in the 2nd round and using my head instead of my heart in picking Nevada to lose to Memphis. Of course taking Winthrop and VCU in the first round wasn't bad either.

My wife learned that you can't win it the first weekend, but you sure can lose.

She had Wisconsin and Texas in the Final Four.

Just goes to show that knowing basketball counts for something once in a while. I knew Wisconsin wouldn't get that far after the Butch injury, but I did think they'd get by UNLV/Georgia Tech.

I've lost 2 Elite 8 teams, so I know I have no hope of winning, but if things fall into place I could still finish pretty high in the group.

And screw the brackets, I'm just rooting for Tennessee (my first graduate school) now.

Ya, Nevada, you sure are kicking some tail. I'll give myself a pat on the back too for picking UNLV over Wisconsin. I'm just hoping that luck parlays into getting the Ducks into the Final Four. You gotta pick an upset into the Final Four most years to have a shot at winning it all. My only worry is that this year has been very unconventional from the upset standpoint. No double-digit seeds in the Sweet 16. I hope that trend ends this weekend.

Oh, and me picking Maryland and Texas to the Elite 8 hasn't helped, either. Go USC/Butler!!

I also picked Butler to beat Maryland. I was on fire last weekend, but have to criticize myself for not picking Vandy, who I knew was better than WSU. I just got swayed by living in the PAC-10 area. I'm kicking myself for it today.

Talking What were these Michigan State players thinking?

"Wow....Tyler Hansbrough!"

Do you think they asked for his autograph?
