My name is Tim Dean and I am the Recreation Coordinator for the City of Cedar Park in the Austin area. We are starting a youth basketball league here this winter and will need basketball officials. I am looking for someone we could hire to do some basic basketball referee training and/or referee some of our games. I was hoping to find someone to spend a couple of hours with them showing them the basics of refereeing basketball and an overview of the rules and mechanics. I hope someone can help steer me in the right direction.
Also if you know of anyone interested in refereeing we are going to pay $12-$15 per game. Each game last about an hour on Saturdays. THANKS Tim Dean Recreation & Aquatics Coordinator [email protected]
