Peace

My partner and I had a friendly wager (first round after the game, which just leads to the other guy buying the second round) on total fouls versus total points in the third quarter of a JV girls game this year (we had the varsity game). The quarter ended up tied: 6 points and 6 fouls.

The first half, the fouls were more than 20 and the points scored was 19, so fouls was "winning" after 3 quarters.

I know you talked about overtime only, but Scrapper said something about a game that ended 4-2 after regulation.

Ok, so where did you referee until you had to finish? By the way, I'm really sorry for anybody who has to give up refereeing because of health issues. I can feel my knees as I am thinking about this. :(

I watch a lot of games from Italian Lega A, Spanish ACB and Euroleague to learn from the officials. I referee on a professional level myself, but these leagues are way ahead of the competition in my country :o

Drain

Drain (Oregon) vs Wilbur, varsity boys. 1-0, in 1927. Two other games have since matched that score. The latest was 1930, when Georgetown (Illinois) defeated Homer by a score of 1-0.

Drain, now known as North Douglas, has improved. This season they beat Central Linn 106-88, and are fourth in the Oregon 2A Coaches Poll. Wilbur High School no longer exists.
