The point deficite is 30 points in the 4th quarter, not 40. ;)

Peace

I couldn't remember if it was 30 or 40; I just knew it was a lot. I haven't had to use it in the last couple of years, even though it would've come in handy on a couple of games I've had already this year.

And as long as we're pointing out mistakes: deficit. (Sorry, I'm just feeling grumpy today.) :D

Used the Michigan running clock last night. (40 points; 2nd half) Subs in the game.
Partner calls foul at 1:15 in 4th on trailing team. I stopped clock at 1:03 and reset it to 1:15.

Sub [leading team], who I was watching in pregame warmups and who was having major problems with his shot, stepped to the line.

First one bounced around, dropped and the fans went nuts. 2nd banked in and the fans went double-nuts. The kid did all he could to maintain his cool, but most could tell these shots were really meaningful !

I am pleased the Michigan rule allows the clock to stop in the last 2 minutes for free throws. :)
