Seriously, I don't even address a coach for screaming 3 seconds, 5 seconds, whatever. I would only address the coach on something like this, if after the play has gone the other way, and he/she is still complaining about it, I come back down from the other end, and still complaining, TECHNICAL FOUL! Constant complaining....That kind of cleans it up too, imo!

So Rusty, in case you weren't sure that it was good idea to use those before, now you can be certain.

I don't recall anyone sitting on me yesterday.

No, she never moved her pivot cheek.

This might be obvious to everyone else, but why wouldn't 2-44-5a apply?
"2-44-5 . . . A player holding the ball:
a. May not touch the floor with a knee or any other part of the body other
than hand or foot.
b. After gaining control while on the floor and touching with other than hand
or foot, may not attempt to get up or stand."

Does the fact that she is on the floor as in 2-44-5-b mean that she is now allowed to touch other body parts to the floor besides her feet and the part also already touching touching the floor?

It is beyond me why some people are so concerned with lightening the moment when a coach isn't. Why don't you just cut to the case and ask the coach to pull down his/her pants so you can kiss their....:D Before worrying about all the intelligent, witty, comments how about officiating the game!

Because often, a sharp, witty comment will difuse the situation by letting the coach know he's not getting to you. It also let's him know you are hearing him - but not necessarily listening to him. I have no problem with a quick quip occasionally. Now, if they ask a serious question I'll give a sensible response. If they want to show their a$$ - then I'll respond accordingly there too.
