Unhappy

Anyone go about tailoring their shirt-I'm a tall, thin guy that has a shirt that is too baggy-how to you have a tailor fit you in a ref shirt? Thanks!

I am 6' 2" and 190 lbs. I need an XL for the shoulder width and length, but nothing else. I have the sleeves and the sides taken in for a better fit. Makes a big difference IMO.

Talking

Why don't you just buy your shirts in "tall" sizes, or are you so thin that when you stand sideways and stick out your tongue you look like a zipper?

OK - that's an old, old, old vaudeville joke. And no, I'm not that old. My wife told it to me.

Uh-oh, she's reading over my shoulder. OUCH! THAT HURT!

I buy the "xtra-length" shirts (adds 4" to the length). I am 6'6", 235, but I look smarter! My wife has, on rare occasions, tapered the sides a bit. I have to admit, the older I get, the less the sides need tapering -- I guess it is the gravity?

Honigs sells a fitted V-neck. I bought one to try and won't order anything but from now on.

If you don't want to to give up on the non-fitted shirts, the next best thing I have used is the flex-belt, also available from Honigs.
