The only one reading between the lines is the one who thinks it’s a violation to throw back and forth. There’s no rule that states any teammate is ineligible to receive this pass, so it’s perfectly legal. Don’t get your hopes up on correcting the scribe, however. :(

Exactly. Unless, of course, you're going from frontcourt to backcourt on a throw-in, and then you are where you're going as long as you aren't where you are. :D
