High School ball in Anchorage ?

i like to know what kind of high school basketball is going on in Anchorage. thinking of moveing there

Having grown up in AK, and still knowing several friends who are coaches up there - I can tell you that HS ball in Anchorage is pretty much the same as HS ball in any other city of roughly 300,000 people...we get lots of AK teams coming down to WA and OR for summer tournamnents and they are very competitive...now get out into the villages and it's a different story - they have nothing else to do for 4 or 5 months every year and so bball is VERY important to them...Anchorage is a good place to live...
