I have heard Pro Players cannot call a timeout while falling out of bounds or in the air ready to come down out of bounds.

Is there any rule in NF Rule book that does not allow a player to call a timeout while he/she is in the air and about to come down out of bounds? |

Is there any rule in NF Rule book that does not allow a player to call a timeout while he/she is in the air and about to come down out of bounds? Pro players CAN call a time out while in the air ready to come down OOB (I saw Scotty Pippen do it masterfully) and so can HS BB players. A long time ago, no timeout could be granted if a change of possession was imminent (such as falling out of bounds, the throw-in time about to run out, 10-second backcourt violation about to be called, etc.). But...no more.
