NF Rules by Topic Book.

I just received in the mail to day the Rule by Topic Book that is from the NF.

I have been looking through the book off and on most of the night. For those that have not seen the book, it breaks down the rules with case plays and little factoids about the rules. For example they will have a section called "Did You Know" which talks about what the rule was in 1957 as an example. The book also covers the rational behind every rule and gives some Rules Fundamentals.

The book basically takes the rulebook, casebook and gives intent all into one place. This is a great resource for study and further understanding of the rules of Basketball. Also the book is produced by the NF so you cannot say the information is not official.

You can buy the book through the NF.

Peace

I've been waiting with bated breath for mine to arrive. Thanks a bunch, you just made the wait more difficult.

Does it give us a historical synopsis of the 8-panel/10-panel rule changes?

Didn't you hear? There haven't been any rule changes about the number of panels. I'm pretty sure I read that on the forum somewhere.

You can order it direct from the NFHS web site.

http://www.nfhs.org/

You should only be expecting the book if you want to pay for it. It's an adjunct to the rules only.

Actually, that should be http://www.nfhs.com to order any NFHS items.
