When the lead rotates to strong side the trail will be about in the middle of the court and watch off ball (between the 3 point line and the 1/2 court line). On a OOB the ball is thrown a long ways to administer the throw in, but the new trail is never all the way across the court. Also if there is a throw in staying in the front court that is above the free throw lane on either side line... The trail will administer the ball and count... This also could be a long throw to administer. I am not sure what the old high school mechanics were but this is the pro way to work 2 person. As far as the younger officials having experience working a game 2 person.... Most minor leagues are worked using 2 person durring the regular season so they would have 1/2 way recent experience using this system. |
