By that I take it you mean a resume just related to basketball? I have one written out, I've been meaning to electronically do it. I'll shoot it your way when it's done. Tonight or tomorrow depending on how moody the girlfriend is. If you mean a resume that includes officiating as part of a general resume, I have one of those too.

yes you are correct in saying I am talking about a resume related just to basketball. If you could shoot it my way I would appreciate it.

This may be dumb but what's the purpose of a basketball resume? I don't think I'd ever need one.

Some supervisors want one and I know for a fact that AZ_REF is in a location where at least one supervisor has asked for one in the past.

I had to come back and edit.

A resume can give your officiating history without filling out one of those corny forms at a camp. It will say how long you have been officiating, the camps you've been to, the conferences you work and how you can put it all together in an impressive package. Some people put their picture on it so an assigner will know them by face. It can all be part of the "job interview."

Not only does she want one, she made us fill one out last year at camp. As well as a cover letter. It was actually a pretty good experience to sit down and write out what you've accomplished. If you're talking about a different supervisor, I'm pretty sure the Pac wants one as well.

I didn't have to write one when I went to the PAC-10 camp, but Marla did want one. I think Charlie Range used to want one at his camp too.

I wasn't in Phoenix last year; I'm familiar with the area because I used to live in Phoenix (metro area) and I lived in Las Vegas after that. I still have a lot of friends in the area.

AZ_REF,
Instead of "shooting" the resume his way, how about you post a copy? (with all the personal stuff changed to John Doe...LOL).

I would be interested in building one myself.

Thanks

I saw that on their website and I was wondering if it was a joke or his real name.

It is real. My nephew lives in ME & has an interest in becoming an official, so I emailed back and forth with him as that is the board I started out with many years ago.
