Wow, can you believe the controversial 3-pt. contest? Dirk wouldn't have even been in the finals if the officials disallowed his late money ball! When are they going to use instant replay during the All-star weekend?

Did you also see one of the judges pull down the 10 on AI2's sudden death dunk? It should've gone to a 2nd tiebreaker!

Geez, and the NBA wonders why attendance is declining! This shoddy work is killing fans...

(p.s. if anyone thinks I'm serious, then my sarcasm isn't coming through enough...)

AI dunk?? Didn't know he got off the floor that far never mind it was not AI. Try Iguadola (or however you spell it) from the 76ers.

You're referring to Andre Iguodala, who is respectfully nicknamed "AI", after his Philly teammate.

Plus, the other AI (Iverson) CAN dunk.

The NBA has an all-star weekend with meaningless contests and a game with no defense? I thought that was the regular season.

Hey, how about a dunk contest with a guy who misses the same dunk THIRTEEN straight times, finally makes one, and then wins the championship for it?

That pretty much sums up the NBA right there. You shoot 1 for 14, and if the one you make looks good, it's faaaaaantastic.

The NBA is entertainment- not basketball.

Watch the Pistons play and say that. They play basketball better than any team in the world.

Watch the Knicks play and say that. You call this entertainment?

Know what, Jim. I honestly feel that the Pistons- right now- would do a better job at the Olympics or Worlds Championship that any NBA all-star team. I sure ain't a Pistons fan, but you do have to like they way that this current team plays the game imo.

The Knicks? Shudder.......

I have often wondered if it would be better to send the top 6 from the NCAA champs and top 6 from the NBA champs as the US team to the Olympics. Assuming no foreigners, of course.
