Went to a gym Tues. night that I officiated in last month. Much to my surprise, the tape was still down that I put down to mark the coaching boxes. Also, the X in front of the scorer was still there. The only bad thing is the "offset tables". When they have an aisle in the center of the court. One bench is close to the table and the other is farrrr from the table. Other than that, they don't have any problems with the boxes. I wouldn't have any problem warning them for coaching out of the box, but they are yelling at me, it is a T the first time. Here is a question for everyone: coach comes on the floor a couple of feet in a very loud gym, taps you on the shoulder for a time-out. What do you do....... didn't happen to me, but a crew in the area.
