UNC sure gave Duke a heck of a half! Too bad they came out for the second half. What the heck happened? Six turnovers in their first six possessions. No points for three and a half minutes. It's a long way from being over, but it doesn't look good.

Actually not very different from my HS girls game tonight.

Oops! Maybe I spoke too soon. UNC just cut it to 3 with a huge 3. Ice water in his veins, BABYYY!

Helluva comeback by the baby Heels! Could have been different if Noel could have gotten the ball to a teammate when it was a 1 point game. Reddick is unreal.

Of course, m game goes to OT tonight, so I actually saw the last 50 seconds. Maybe rewind and watch the DVR tomorrow night.

Thumbs up

A little new found respect for Coach K. ACC fans are always complaining about Duke getting all the calls. But tonight, it was the Blue Devils who were in foul trouble. When asked about the foul trouble, he said,

"We fouled alot tonight. They attack you. And a team that attacks you is going to get fouled. Hansbrough attacks you. And he attacks you again. And he attacks you again. And when you get offensive rebounds like they did tonight, you put yourself in a better position to get fouled. A lot of people look at the disparity in fouls and question why. Well, if you look deeper, there's usually a reason. The reason tonight was they attacked us. But people don't want to do that because they're afraid they'll find there's an answer."

Heck of a game, but it ended the way it should with Duke winning. The Dukies seem to be having quite a run of games where they have double digit leads and then hang on to pull it out at the end.

Yeah, right. I'm in the middle of a stretch of 11 games in 13 nights. Before that was 10 games in 14 night.

Tonight was a 7 pm HS game. Tipped off on time, home by 9:15. So I got to see most of it. Fell asleep at 11 or so, tho; so I missed the very end. Gettin' old stinks.

Got an off-night tonight, tho. Thank goodness.

What did people think of Burr calling the double dribble in front of Higgins in the first half of that game?
