I'm not real good with on the spot comebacks but do you have any good one liners I could say to him as I pass by to start the second half?
Sure - if he's still staring, stop and tell him that if he blinks, it's a T. Then stand there and watch his eyes.

I would've found something to talk to my partner(s) about and walked away from the stare. I'm not playing that game with someone so clearly overmatched....
