Sportmanship, obviously is not an extension of the classroom in the area.

We had a fight in a girls game a week or two ago. Enough players from one team got suspended, that they had to move their whole JV up for two games. The other team, who apparently started it, were "disciplined" enough that they only lost two players. Not that that made a different in their win-loss record. THe only game they've won is the forfeit that resulted from the fight.

Is there anyone on the board that works in that area that could keep us informed on what happens? I'd be interested to see how long the suspension is and more details about the problem.

Only fight I've ever had was in a Women's JuCo game - it was a doozy...

We had a fight in our area last year during a girls game where several fans rushed the court. One of the officials got pushed in the back and broke his hip when he fell. I recently talked to him and they never found out who was the pusher. He's improved and back on the court but still got troubles from it.
