Overtime Clock Snafu - Question

I guess I noted I could have set the clock to 3 minutes because someone told me they have never seen a period started at "3:30" so they said three minutes probably would have been the most appropriate.

This is an interesting scenario that I'll need to run by the folks in our local association.
