In Missouri, the MSHSAA patch is worn on the left sleeve, one inch below the shoulder seam. If an American flag is worn, it is to be worn on the right sleeve.

Check with your state. Personally I don't wear any just in case I work with someone that has the same patch in a different place. Also, occasionally I will work out of state (summers only) so I'd rather just be in plain old stripes. Oh yeah, the O'Riley's Auto Parts patch goes on the chest ala' Bobby Knight.
