Where's the best place to buy basketball ref jerseys online? The last one I had I bought at a Deckers sports (back in college) - but no stores in my area seem to carry them.

Looking for just the stripes without a collar.

You'll get lots of different recommendations depending on people's experience. I've had good luck with honigs.com and several others including http://www.gerrydavis.com

Where do you work in Iowa Blindandlovinit? I'm probably the only person reading this that knows what Deckers is. The state should have sent a catalog that for The Graphic Edge in Carroll, but you'll probably find them cheaper somewhere else. I noticed on your profile that you're an ISU guy. Did you work IM there? It's a great place to learn.

Yeah, worked for Gary & Randy in the ISU IM gig. Did everything from flag football & slow pitch to broomball & curling ... had to pay the bar tab somehow.

I really didn't appreciate the training and critiques until I was out in the "real world". It would be hard starting out in without it - I empathize with any new officials trying to break in without much of a structured training program.

btw I'm in the CR-Marion area now a days

Welcome to the board. I never worked IM's, but got my start from guys that did. I schedule a little lower level stuff with Randy, and work some Racoon conference games for Garry. Triggermn that posts here a lot is also a former ISU guy that worked IM. If you were there in the last 10 years or so we probably ran into each other somewhere along the road. Good to have another Cyclone around when the blarge conversations show up! I almost won a shirt in curling one year by the way. Great sport!

Just tripped upon this forum looking for uniforms online. I was at ISU from the fall of '97 - the fall of '02 (yes that's five years). I worked basketball the last 3 seasons and did middle school / jv stuff in the last 2.

Ended up with 5 shirts myself, but only because my friends were on the track team and made great wideouts in flag football. Nothing like a D1 200 sprinter running a fly.
