Me too. I was just hoping to elicit the reason for our newfound friend's interest

Probably wants to report someone for not calling over the back, reaching in and three seconds

I guess my thing is why his ID #? First thing that comes to mind reporting this official for some reason. Thus, the next thing that comes to mind is that you didn't get a traveling call that ended up "costing you the game."

Then again, there certainly could be a very good reason you need this official's ID, therefore as BITS already requested, why do you want to know?

In Michigan, each official puts his MHSAA # and hometown in the scorebook.
Maybe the official was cute or something.

In Texas Coach's and Administrators are provided a handbook of Referee's.

Those that need to know officials here - by name - are given the materials that allow it.

Or maybe he heard through the grapevine that a certain Michigan official was handing donuts this morning?

Ref Daddy,
We have a website in Michigan that'll do that.
So, I guess the answer to the originals poster's question is yes.
