Hi friends,white team scores basket,everyone runs to other end of court except one white team member who grabs ball and steps outside end line ready to pass inbounds.(obviously she thinks the other team scored.)She throws in and the other coach is screaming its red's ball. We whistle the play dead and correct the issue.But we looked like fools. correct or not?

you don't look like fools at all. the girl who didn't know her own team had scored, didn't know which basket her team was shooting at, and the girl who tried to inbound to herself looks like the fool.

NOT the officials who correctly stopped the game.
