Double foul on throw-in clarification

Now I know that if we have a foul while the thrower has the ball we don't have team control, but we continue with POI with the throw-in.

What happens if the throw-in is released and touched, and then you have a foul?

The throw-in ends, on the touch so what happens if there is a double foul before a player controls the ball?

Arrow?

Treat it the same as a loose ball with team control?

SECTION 36 POINT OF INTERRUPTION

ART. 1 . . . Method of resuming play due to an official's accidental whistle, an interrupted game, as in 5-4-3, a correctable error, as in 2-10-6, a double personal, double technical or simultaneous foul, as in 4-19-8 and 4-19-10.
ART. 2…Play shall be resumed by:

a. A throw-in to the team that was in control at a spot nearest to where the ball was located when the stoppage occurred.
b. A free throw or a throw-in when the stoppage occurred during this activity or if a team is entitled to such.
c. An alternating-possession throw-in when the point of interruption is such that neither team is in control and no goal, infraction, nor end of quarter/extra period is involved.

During this activity, is not very clearly defined and we do not have a case play that covers this specific situation.

We really need team control added to throw-ins.

Just add an inbounds to the 10 second and 3 second rules to exclude throw-ins.

Why not do the smart thing and have the case play?

Why not do the even smarter thing and have team control during the throw-in?

As we stand now, we are dealing with two conflicting outcomes based on if the throw-in has ended for a double foul and is the throw-in controlled for a team control foul.

Both situations are fixed by simply adding control inbounds to the back court, 10 second and 3 second rules and having team control during a throw-in.

Which is likely the case next season, anyway.
