I am needing some help. My wife was in a serious auto accident yesterday and we are in need of some prayers. She broke her kneecap in two and is in a great deal of pain. Our world has been turned upside down as we have four kids and she is a stay at home mom. Thanks for your time.

Will do. You're going to have to be Superman for a while - Dad, provider, mom, counselor and nurse. Good thing you're a ref cuz' you're used to balancing a million things at once. Godspeed.

Best wishes, Ken. Tough spot, and a big scare, no matter how you look at it. At least she's still with you, though. Keeping a good thought for your wife and the family.

We all know how it is to have a significant other to support us with the many trials of officiating. Now is your time to pay some of that back. Our prayers are with your wife, you, and your family.

Ken,

Haven't heard from you in a while and I hate to hear something like this. I'll be thinking about your family. Godspeed.

Update:

She got to come home today! There has been a thousand and one questions from our kids. Now comes the fun part. She hit a SUV that ran a stop sign. Our van is totaled. We are looking at least 16 to 20 weeks before she will be 100%. Anyone know a good lawyer in Central Illinois?

Ken

It was in Danville. She is in her final year of nursing school and was on her way to class.
