Found Em! Although are white shoe strings acceptable JR?

The shoes are acceptable....the laces do have to be black though.

Hey, I got a pair just like that. They're Air Bozos.

Way back when, I gave a dress talk for mainly first year officials at a chapter meeting. We did it at a meeting where everyone was there so (hopefully) the guys that still had been around for a while would eventually get the message, as some of them had bad dressing habits.

Anyway, I've never been a big shiny shoes guy. Clean and even polished, yes. Shined to the point of being able to shave in their reflection? No. However, I knew plenty of guys that were that way, and that's fine. One game I had in a 3 man crew, one of the guys had used that spray shine on his shoes so much, for some reason, when he pulled them out of the bag to get dressed, they were stuck together! We pulled on them for a minute or so and LUCKILY got them apart without damage. So, if the PL solves that one problem that occurs once every hundred thousand or so man games, I'm all for it!

I strongly recommended beltless slacks. Mainly because there is a better consistency among the makers of black beltless slacks than there is for belt loops. But, I know some guys like belts or feel more comfortable in them. Nowadays, microfiber golf slacks are available with belt loops only, so guys that want lighter pants are forced to wear them. The only thing that MUST be insisted upon is to NOT wear a PL belt with black slacks. Any other color is fine, but black slacks need a dull finished belt so it doesn't show up well.

Me thinks you just put yourself into that category of "officials who have too much time on their hands and worry about minutia."

Because I've worked for big companies so long that I've become sensitized.

Plus, I'm very careful about the word "fat". My wife and I had to teach our 3-year old son (he was 2 at the time) that "fat" was a bad word after he called my somewhat rotund mother-in-law "fat" (he didn't know any better at the time). So now whenever he hears anyone say that word he says, "we don't say fat!"

I would've paid good money to see that.

I have a bad habit of chastizing myself verbally when I do something dumb. Hit a bad golf shot: "Jeez, Chuck, you suck!". Lock the keys in the car: "I am such an idiot!" Stuff like that. One day, when my daughter was about 2ish, I took her upstairs for her nap, but left her blanket downstairs. I told her I had to go back and get it and she says (of course), "Daddy, you a idiot."

Couldn't get mad at her. She was right!

Hey I am in the army. We wear Poromeric- It is a shiny high gloss breathable material.... Patent leather is hot and sticky. Tell them you checked it out and your not wearing patent leather and see how it goes over...

Good Luck
