Been trying to locate this on-line everywhere, but can't seem to find it. Hopefully somebody can help and maybe point me to a rulebook that discusses it.

Question is this:
How many steps can you take when driving to the hoop?

I always assumed two steps was ok. But my buddy says i'm incorrect. Example would be driving to the net dribbling ... then hop to my left foot ... hop to my right foot and then shoot ( having jumped up from my right foot on the second hop ).

Any help muchly appreciated. Thx in advance.

Phil

It's not about the number of steps. It's about legally moving the pivot foot.
