Yes you do move to get the proper angle. Which way depends and that is something you'll just have to get a feel for. For me, it's usually easier to just take a step or two back and towards the center of the court to get the angle, but as Blindzebra pointed out, when it is out at the DL, it's easier to step down. By going back and onto the court, you get an inside-out look and it usually requires fewer steps. The problem I have with moving onto the court is that when there is a steal, Occassionally I can get caught in the middle. When that happens, I just homd my ground, spin, and then trail the play the other way.
