Question

i did a competitive 11&under game yesterday. nice crowd, great players..great game. two teenage kids were taking score and they made a couple of errors. we stopped the game plenty of times to correct the score...but on one occasion a parent came to the score board and cussed the kids out. using all kinds of vulgar language and threatening them...what should have been done in this instance?

You have to ask?

The table is part of the officiating crew, would you allow a parent to scream obscenities at you or your partner(s)?

Would you allow them to do it to one of the players?

Toss 'em like a good salad.

But not because they're part of the officiating crew: toss 'em because it's no way to treat anybody.

As the other two have stated, they are gone without even thinking twice. What did you do -- notify game management of the issue and have them ejected??

The younger the players, the dumber the parents.
Good grief, those 11 year olds didn't spend years in the gym perfecting their game to have some teenagers screw up their scholarship chances.

Cool

There is no excuse for allowing profanity at games like this. I would have told those @#$%&* to get the ^%(#@ out of the %$!&*%$# gym. If they didn't leave immediately, I would kick their $%^&*#$#@!!. In other words, !@&*$#@ them!

@#$%&U*

^%(#U@

%$!&*%$U#

and $%^&*#$#U@

That's funny. I would have thought they would be:

@#$%&U*A

^%(#U@A

%$!&*%$U#A

and $%^&*#$#U@A

Shouldn't they all end with "@"?
