I was wondering when you were going to start this thread otherwise I would've had to start a scab one again!

Officiating looks pretty tight tonight, quite a change from the other 6 games, at least I think so.

Great crew, had a feeling bavetta and rush would be on the game.

I don't know if anyone is going to agree with me, but I'm not particularly impressed with Rush tonight. I can understand the pressure of a game 7, but I think he's missing some calls both ways or calling some marginal contact.

Replay showed that he looked like he wanted to call an out-of-bounds and then changed it to a push in the 1st half.

LOL! Actually, I thought I had started one earlier in the day but when I came to post to it, it didn't exist. I guess I got sidetracked.

Pretty boring to be a Game 7.

As Marv Albert would say, "It has all come down to this."

57-57, start of the 4th.

No technical foul by Rasheed or Larry Brown??

Good OOB call towards the end.

It was a great series. Last night the Pistons just weren't making shots and the Spurs were. Just turns out the Spurs made shots 4 nights and the Pistons 3. Last night could have gone either way. Both teams will contend again next year, hopefully Larry Brown will recover and be back to coach again next year.

The Pistons defense went away with two minutes remaining.
Instead of a well-oiled defensive machine, it seemed that the boys quit covering their teammates backs and actually put out the welcome sign, with directions, to the hoop. Maybe everyone had too many fouls and decided to let someone else make the stop.

Oh, well, I have four games next week at a Girls' hoops team camp.
Should be better than standing out on a hot field wearing a lot of gear.

You think so? I only saw one replay, and it didn't show whose foot it went off of, but it looked like all Spurs in the area to me.

Yeah, but what killed them is that their offense (what little there was) went away with 12 minutes left. They scored 6 points (all by Sheed) in the first 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. Can't win that way, period.

If you're talking about the ball under the piston's basket, that one definitely went off Ben Wallace's foot, very clear in one reply.

In the replay I saw, no foot was visible on the the screen. However there was a single leg extending to the area where the ball hit. In addition, the ball went straight down and deflected horizontally. I definitely hit something offscreen where one leg was extended (presumably with a foot on the end). That was Wallace's leg...and foot.
