Hey- it was just a guy in fishnets.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

BTW - here in the Portland area, Tonya is kind of a perpetual joke - like the Blazers.
Tonya?

A joke?

Gee, I thought the film of everybody's wedding night was posted on the internet.

Man, if they ever won, their fans would probably be as insufferable as the BoSox fans.

I'd love to be insufferable.

Just once.
Uh....I hate to break it to you, but you already are.
Shut up.

Both of you.

While waiting for the first pitch, I picked up a book that one of my sons dropped off--- "Idiot" by Johnny Damon.

Got as far as the ACKNOWLEDGMENTS in the front, where the author thanks everyone that he can think of. Included in there were the following gems:
1) I want to thank Lisa for making my hair look great.
2) I want to thank Jason Giambi for showing me what it's like to be a big leaguer.

He was serious too.

That was enough for me.

Some books were meant to be burned.

I've been readin a little bit more- between half-innings. I think that it's something similar to the syndrome of people being fascinated with train wrecks, airplane crashes, etc.

JR's synopsis to date: Damon has brought new meaning to the word "shallow".

Btw, Jason Giambi's teaching Damon to be a major leaguer turned out to be drinking and partying. Pharmaceuticals were not mentioned.

Congrats to the White Sox. Pretty amazing run for cursed teams named after an article of clothing. 86 years for the Red Sox, 88 years for the White Sox.

Not taking anything away from Chicago, but did anybody else think that the runner was safe at first on the last out of the game?

Lightbulb Last Out (of '05 Series)

You know, Chuck,

I actually thought that too, watching live on the 'real' take. But, then (after waiting about ten minutes) when they re-played the last two outs (made by SS Uribe,) I got to see it in slow-mo; Ump got it right. It WAS dang close--almost not a bang-banger, but it was. It was a Good Game, I thought.
