My prediction?

If North Carolina wins, Roy Williams will cry.

If North Carolina loses, Roy Williams will cry.

The Duke, John Wayne, never cried. Especially over no sissy basketball game. You go, Roy!

My other prediction? More people will watch the Yankees/BoSox game tonight than both NCAA Woman's Final Four games combined. The actual attendance at the baseball game will be higher than both woman's games combined too.

JR,
No baseball yet. Not at my house.
I have a tendency to not watch games that don't count.

Go Green !

Congratulations, Tony, on showing such admirable restraint in not getting all over poor ol' Mick and his late, lamented Spartans.

You sick?

BTW, it's laughable that they're gonna play this game tonight.

It's been raining hard here since Friday night, 2 to 4 inches in places, it's gonna be 40 deg & drizzling at game time. And most fans will be sleeping by the time they sing "God Bless America" in the 7th inning.

They should play this game tomorrow afternoon.

Opening game should be back in Cincinnati. Tradition!

At least it's not in Japan!

Tonight's game, if it's played, will count, Mick. They're not in Fort Myers anymore, Toto.

I couldn't agree more with both of these statements.

Opening Day should be in Cinci.

Nah, mick and I aren't discussion board fanboys. We trade our barbs privately, via email.

Okay, so I promised Trigger that I wouldn't lecture any more about proper English if he would quit mentioning attendance and viewership of women's basketball. He still has kept his word, so I guess I have to, too. But since Jurassic has brought up the attendance issue, I hope someone else can take up the "why proper English is crucially important to society as we know it" cause, so I can stay true to my promise. Let's see, who agreed with me? Padgett? YOu there? I need your rapier wit (and skip the fishnet references, for once!).

Chuck, Chuck, Chuck !!!
Fort Myers, Fort Wayne, Fort Apache or Old Fort Henry.
They play what? 200 games? One game hardly counts.
If it isn't September, the games don't count. [sigh!]
