Streetball?

Just got a call from my assignor to do a streetball game tomorrow. He said to just call OOB & hard fouls. It is one of those traveling teams taking on local HS players and alumni. Should be fun unless my trousers get yanked down. Anyone ever done one of those games?

I will let you know how it turned out in a few hours. My partner today has done about 3 of them this past week. One thing for sure is that I probably will not have an opportunity to work on my mechanics.

I might also add that this is a fundraiser at a nearby HS that does all of its own assigning. Being willing to do this game may help in next season's schedule.

Well, it was fun. The nicknames they gave to the players were pretty funny as they did a play-by-play. And they were able to do pretty well for the fundraiser. I got a good workout running the floor, but did not have too many whistles. Wouldn't want to go on the road with them, but it was a worthwhile Sunday afternoon.
