I noticed yesterday that a few officials looked like they were pressing. I know none of them want to be one-and-done but it should be great just to be there.
One game in particular I noticed was West Virginia/Creighton. Gerald Boudreaux was the R and his primary conference is the SEC. The SEC uses a quick rotation like the NBA, sort of a run across the paint sometimes. This rotation was throwing off one of the other officials. I didn't see much of the game but I did see this one official miss one of Boudreaux's rotations and there was momentarily two Leads on the other end. This official also looked anxious like he wanted to call something but didn't have anything to call.

I'm as cool a customer as you'll ever find. Sad to say, I've been in games when I've "looked anxious". Usually happens in my first game at a new level. I can't imagine what it feels like to work an NCAA tourney game. Hopefully I'll know how to better control my anxiety when I get there.
