check out fox sports a story of a Referee in Argentina in a professional BB league that got crushed by a player after a foul call.
the player was banned for life and the referee was under ging surgery. This may be older but I just saw it.
I tried to put it on the post but it will not work.

The official made a foul cal and this guy didn't like it and confronted the official, then just laid him out with a right cross.He dislocated his Jaw, busted his eye sockett and was unconsioous for 3 plus hours.

Makes you think about what you do sometimes.

There is Civil action pending but I didn't hear anything about criminal charges.

At least the player will have a new carrer in boxing.
