I can't remember who said that quote, but it's how I'm feeling tonight. Oregon City girls lost in the semi-final. Why does that make me happy? It's nothing personal. I just feel as though other schools ought to have a chance once in a while. OC has won the last 9 out of 12 state championships, and finally, finally, it's someone else's turn. Thank goodness.

Lightbulb

"The year's at the spring
And day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven;
The hillside's dew-pearled;
The lark's on the wing;
The snail's on the thorn;
God's in his heaven -
All's right with the world." - Robert Browning (1812-1889)

A little class and culture on this post. I'm impressed!

...Maybe for youngsters, but Bartlett's book's best.
Try it sometime.

Update:

I am so thankful today (Saturday) that I was at the tournament watching yesterday (Friday) when Oregon City lost. I won't be at the games today for reasons beyond my control, but it doesn't matter so much, since I was there for THE BIG ONE!
