I concur with recommendations

Some refs are sensitive about a coach who comes up to them pregame and talks about what has happened in the past or what may happen. If a coach is very very brief with their comments and comes to me with the right frame of mind we'll have a short conversation, where I'll say "I'll watch for that".

Otherwise coach, wait until game time and then approach the officials when it happens. It's possible because the TO's are so short that they're giving the team a little extra time, or that they feel it's not worth enforcing in a 5th grade game.

It is a rule, and it's one that sounds like it's important to you since the other team is gaining an advantage.

If you bring it up I would like to hear some follow up on how it went.

The cite above is the exact play we're talking about. If Team B is the guilty party, they get one 5 second violation before they get hit with a T. So, you'd have score for A, violation for B, score for A, and T on B.
I'll wait until you get home before I ask you to chase ducks.

If you mean that 7.5.1 is the exact play, then I most strongly disagree. There are a number of key differences. However, I also have discovered that I was wrong, too. The reference I thought was relevant, wasn't really.
That's what I get for trying to think about basketball when the three days before were spent trying to decode seven-syllable Latin words.:(
