Adv vs Disadv?

Rule vs Common Sense?

This stitch happens to be HS, GV. But any stitch should apply.

Sit.: V team up 10 in 4th Qtr. Team A has the ball in their front court. Team B is in a zone with no pressure. A1 is standing in the FC near half court palming the ball as she dribbles.

Do you call it?

I say no, my p says call it by the book. Your responses will set a presidence here! Plus win me ten bucks, lol.

Thanks in advance all!

If it was only once and not incredibly overt, I might just get something in my eye when it happens that prevents me from seeing the play. However, if it paused in her hand for a dog year or if she does it repeatedly, I gotta call it.

To me it depends how obvious it is. We were reminded late in the year by the state to continue to call the game through to the end so I would probably call it if it was an obvious carry. I bet she would not do it next time.

Call the obvious.

If no one notices and there is no pressure on the ball, let it go. This is not different than calling a 3 second count with a player's toe on the line. You never want to be very picky unless everyone in the gym understands why you are calling something.

Peace

Is Team B's coach complaining and whining for the palming call? If so, then I definitely do NOT call it.
