since we are settling bets around here...let's settle another....

at college level we know who takes last second shot: person opposite the table in trail or C takes the shot..

question is at the nfhs level: (Who BY RULE HAS THE SHOT)
we always do it the way we do college, but we have someone arguing with us that says it's the player on TABLESIDE that has the shot in High School... I told him it used to be and may still be, the "C" no matter what side had the shot...just wondering did they change it to the same way as college "opposite table" (trail or C) or is it some other way?????

The official opposite table has the last shot, which of course is either the T or C.

Answer: No one, because it's a mechanic, not a rule.

FED: Opposite
NCAAM: Opposite
NCAAW: C
