After screwing this up last year (Team A to get ball for throw-in...Team B calls time out....We give the ball to team B, I guess since they called the timeout), This is ALWAYS discussed in pregame...we will always verbalize with each other who is getting the ball, where they are getting the ball, if it's a spot or run the endline, BEFORE we grant the time out. Similarly, for a free throw, if a time out is called..identify the shooter, and how many shots they are getting, before we grant the time out.
