Today I had some rec-league games. Near the end of the first half my partner calls a foul on B1. We administer the throw in and 20 seconds later the buzzer goes to end the half.
At halftime the scorer comes up to us and tells us that it was B's 7th team foul. Now because we're still in the first dead ball after the clock started following the error is it correctable??

I'd say yes if the teams had not already gone to the locker room. Shoot the FT(s) and send 'em to the locker room. If they have already headed in for halftime, my instinct would say that it's too late, although I don't have a rule to back it up. My vague interpretation is that the ball is "beyond dead" during halftime. (I'm sure someone is going to make a smart reply to this!

Whether they've gone ot the locker room or not has no bearing on whether you shoot the FTs or not, only when you shoot them.
If they're still on the floor, shoot the 1&1, (Hope you know who the shooter is) and if they have left the floor, shoot them before beginning the second half. |

If you still haven't had a 2nd live ball, regardless of halftime, the error is still correctable. If the teams have gone to their locker rooms, shoot the 1-1 with the lane cleared as an extension of the 2nd quarter. The stats will go into the 2nd quarter stats, and MAKE SURE the shooter is shooting at the basket that team used in the 1st half. When that's over, move on to the 3rd quarter with the AP throw in opposite.
