At the captains' meeting, before the hand shake, the captains came to center with their backs to their teams. The referee asked the players to face in the direction of their team warmups "too avoid confusion for the players".
So the captains all crossed over the division line. The confusion on all the captains' faces indicated to me that they had never done this before. Is this a common practice in basketball land? mick
