Today while I was looking through the sports pages, I saw this huge picture from an NBA game with A1 trying to dunk the ball, but B1 with his hand through the basket blocking the shot.

Now I haven't seen that much action above the rim in my career so I'm just wondering if that is

a. legal in the NBA?
b. legal in the NCAA?
c. legal in the NFHS?

Not legal here, not legal there, not legal anywhere! Definitely BI.

If you mean that the hand came up through the net and rim from underneath, that's BI.

But if he went in from above while A1 was trying to dunk, that's legal.

The hand came up underneath and through the basket.
