Where's The Throw In ?

A1 fouls B1 in the paint...

A1 travels in the paint...

A1 is awarded time out while ball in paint...

Foul shot misses everything...

Where's The Throw In take place? I'm not clear on endline throw in versus sideline throw in.

ps) Is this designated in the rule book? Still looking for it.

All of these plays result in the ball being inbounded on the endline.

In the lane and half circle and from the FT line, diagonally into the corner of the FC - all this area goes to the endline.

You'll find the diagram in the Officials Manual.

I would say the throw in was from the nearest out of bounds at the end line, outside the paint on side of foul.
