Can anyone out there tell me why the UVA player named Hall, has that bandage on his right shoulder? I've seen him a few times in games and highlights and can't figure out why he's been wearing it all season. Thanks in advance.

A Tatoo?
You guys are too funny!!! How offensive could a tatoo be that he would be required to cover it? I wonder what these kids are thinking? Don't they realize a tatoo is like luggage? It's around forever.

Mike,
Did you see that thing?
I am guessing it is 8" long (running up/down starting just below the shoulder), and 1-1/2" wide.
I don't think it was a G.I. Joe bandaid.

I haven't seen it. But from your description, this "Bandage" is huge!

Maybe he is a chain smoker and "REALLY" needs to quit!

I haven't seen it. But from your description, this "Bandage" is huge!

OK I guess I'm compulsive in some ways. I actually called the administration dept for UVA mens basketball and asked the same question of them. A lovely Southern belle of a lady answered the phone (her name was Carol Moore). She said that Adam Hall injured himself earlier in the season and just continues to wear the bandage. She couldn't or wouldn't tell me the nature of the injury so I guess we can continue to wonder what's under that thing.

Washington Post today said in article that Hall jumped on table to avoid crowd rushing floor at end of game because of a shoulder injury he wished to protect. I would find this a bit farfetched, except I saw UCLA's player get decked by a fan last night after their overtime win.

The official (can't use "referee"!) word seems to be the bandage is there because of an early season injury. Sounds hokey, but here is a URL for a UVA discssion board on the same topic:
