In the Kansas-Kentucky game, during the last minute of the game, Kansas player A stole the ball and passed the ball to player B, who was still in the back court. Player A started to pass the ball while in the backcourt, but didn't release until he was pretty much past the half-court line. In this a backcourt violation that the ref just missed?

The Kansas player had his left foot on the division line, so he was still in the backcourt even though his other foot was in the front court.

The guys calling these games are clueless, chances are very good that if Billy Packer says something was the wrong call it was not.

I pretty much figured that he had no idea what he was talking about here, just like the two three point shots that he thought might be questionable, when both time the player was clearly outside the perimeter on the release.

BZ,
At first I was amazed at what you said. I didn't think you would issue such a blanket critisizem(sp). Then I realized you meant the announcers were/are cluless, not the officials.

You are right on the money about the announcers.

I thought he was talking about officials at first too, I reread it and then realized he was talking about Packer.
