Regarding the 30 second shot clock-we use 30 seconds in our CIAU version of NCAA Men's rules everything else is the same.
???When do we blow the whistle and stop the play when the horn goes off and when do we play on-We are having a bit of a problem with this one on our recent return to NCAA rules up here. Could someone experienced in NCAA Men's Rules Help?

Send a message via ICQ to bigwhistle
There are several different senerios which I will not post now, but as a general rule, the whistle will be blown for a shot clock violation if A) the ball has not left the player's hand on the attempt, or B) if the ball leaves the shooter's hand and is in the air when the horn sounds and the ball then fails to draw iron or go through the ring.
