In my neck of the woods (Atlantic Canada), I usually lose a few games to snow storms etc.... This year, I actually gained a game. Two weeks ago, a snow storm cancelled school (I teach) but not a local tournament. A ref who was scheduled to come in from out of town cancelled because of the bad roads and I ended up doing that game.

This year has been relatively light in terms of precipitation, but the forecasted low for tonight is -20 Celsius. That converts to -4 Fahrenheit. Got to go start a fire.
