Anyone out there wearing the "new" Gray Shirt w/black pinstripes? Is it sanctioned by your state association? What states allow this option?

My partners & I have only worn them for scrimmages, summer AAU ball and tournaments held in other states other than Wisconsin.

We wear them in GA. for the U.S. military in the Central GA. region. There are more confortable and they also look better than the regular black & white, in my opinion.

I have seen a private school tourney in the Houston where the officials were wearing gray shirts w/o pinstripes. I don't know if they were TASO officials or not. My chapter does not allow its officials to wear anything but the traditional zebra shirts.

I have one assignor that allows them for college games. I cannot wear them for any other level or assignor.

Peace

I wear them but I wish we could all go to one plain (no patches except the flag on the sleeve) shirt.

One JUCO league - plain grey

All other college and military - black and white with flag on sleeve

One HS board - black and white with IAABO patch, state patch and flag on back

Other HS board - grey with IAABO patch

I also have another grey shirt with a different patch and no stripes

I also have the pro-am shirt that is grey with different stripes

Someplace I have some plain black and white shirts that never get worn.

Too many shirts!

Not allowed here during the season. I like the look of them, however just like anything else if we were allowed to wear them it would take some time getting used to. A couple people around here have them for summer league stuff. I don't see the point in spending $35 to wear 5 times a year.

In Indiana, those of us that have them wear them for anything except varsity contest. I have bought two of them so my partner could wear one of mine. I love the shirt.

Our view is this, on our contracts, it states that we are an independent contractor working for the school for all regular season games. So unless the school has a problem with it, then we are wearing them.
Now post-season, you are working for the IHSAA, so you must wear what they want you to wear!!
