After the tip- off in the overtime the official scorer calls official over to table and informs the official he(scorer) made a mistake in the scoring and there should not have been over time how should this be handled?

Change the score, and continue on with overtime.

Yes continue with OT. However, it was obviously a close game, why didn't the R go to the table when there was a TO or a break in the action and make sure the books matched and everything was ok? Just a thought.

Maybe he did already. That does not mean the table still could not have messed up. Going to the table is not going to stop them from counting correctly.

True, but he didn't say he went to the table. Therefore we don't know when the error happened. Anyways, like I said just a thought. Take care & Happy Holidays all!
