Ref called B2 for a block, saying that he had not established LGP, since he never faced A1. This made sense to me at the time, but now I wonder. This reminds me of when an offensive player is dribbling up court and runs into a defender that is facing the other way. I thought this was a charge. What are the correct guidelines regarding contact with a defensive player who is not guarding the player with the ball?
Jimgolf,
Did the defender do anything illegal? No.
Who initiated contact? Offense.

...Other way. Player control foul. No shots unless the foul is intentional or flagrant.
